SELF-respect, Self-love, Self-esteem, Self Worth, Self-Realization. Here’s a simple question — how much of yourself do you actually know for a fact to be true? And here is something even more shocking — How much of yourself you actually DO NOT know that is yet to be discovered? Finally, here is what tops it all — WHEN would you actually come to know this? Do you seriously want to continue living your life without discovering that hidden treasure of yourself?
2) ETIQUETTES & MANNERS
As a young man who had no one to guide him, no google.com (those days), no social media, no internet and no access to any worthwhile information — I literally didn’t know there was anything got to do with Etiquettes & Manners. In fact, if you asked me to eat at a table with a family, I didn’t know what was expected. This proved to be a major hindrance as I climbed up the ranks of both money & power.
Take it from me — knowing your E’s & M’s makes a lot of difference to your personal brand.
3) VERBAL & WRITTEN COMMUNICATION
In a day and age where everything we do, say, share and communicate is either written or verbal — you cannot ignore this absolutely necessary skill.

We may not like it but our lives are governed by this one commodity. So then the question comes in — were you taught how to manage your money? And not just manage — gain mastery over it?
Those who do vs those who don’t is the difference between one who is happy and at peace vs those that struggle with stress, pressure, unhappiness & a broken life.

What is networking?
Is it giving someone your business card?
Is it giving a total stranger a short, short & snappy introduction?

Networking in the business world is what makes one person grow and climb the corporate ladder successfully versus someone who will remain stuck in a position for many years to come.
7) EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
No matter how good you are, in the line of fire is where you are tested — be it a pilot who has to decide what to do next as the aircraft is experiencing turbulence, be it a CEO who has to decide what pressure-filled unpopular decision to take next to keep the company afloat, be it a human being who has to decide what to choose between a rock & a hard place.
As they say, it is these moments you come to know what you are made up of. And to do so successfully, you need Emotional Intelligence & awareness.
8) SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
Google search someone’s name and you literally get the good, the bad and the ugly. Sadly, it is never the good that people remember. It's always the bad, the ugly and the controversial that stick.

I can go on and on about this subject, especially given that it is what I specialize in. However, I will keep it to just one line.
“What you are earning right now, per hour, is it what you believe you are worth?”
The answer should tell you where you stand with your Personal brand.

There are no ships sailing in the ocean without a rudder or a direction or a destination. However, there are millions of human beings who have no idea where they are headed, why they are doing what they have chosen to do and what is their purpose in life.
